Meet The Team

Owner
Sylvia Pagán Westphal
Sylvia founded Herringbone & Brass when she realized that styling and interior design were intricate components of her work in luxury real estate. Sylvia is a licensed real estate agent and works with MGS Group Real Estate, a boutique real estate firm in Boston.
Sylvia works with clients when they are starting to think about putting their luxury home on the market. She has renovated, built and sold multiple luxury properties in Boston and Miami, and she advises clients on the best strategy to introduce their luxury home to buyers.

Sylvia oversees operations at H&B and enjoys staying close to all of the firm's projects.

Principal Interior Designer
Virginia Seherr-Thoss
Prior to joining HB, Virginia spent the last 10 years as Senior Designer at Daher Interior Design. She's worked on 40 + residential projects ranging in size from 19,000 sqft to 1,500 sqft.

Interior Designer
Lisa Parcell
Lisa brings over a decade of experience in the design industry to Herringbone & Brass--both as a member of large architecture firms and as an independent consultant for residential, retail, and corporate projects.
Her lifelong passion of making and curating beautiful things was honed at the Boston Architectural College where she earned her Masters in Interior Architecture. Lisa was a District Chair for Boston Landmarks Commission, where she gained appreciation for the past, and she incorporates that love of historic details into her designs today. She brings a fine eye, skilled hands, and a calm voice to all her client projects.
Beyond her interior design practice, Lisa is the owner of Mavan Macarons, specializing in custom, hand-painted French Macarons. She is a graduate of Boston College and she and her family are longtime Boston residents.
